Students for the Promotion of International Law (SPIL), in collaboration with EnviPol, hosted an insightful Climate Governance and Global Commons Certificate Workshop on 4th and 5th September 2021. This two-day workshop provided a comprehensive understanding of climate governance and its crucial role in achieving Sustainable Development Goal 13 (Climate Action).

About the Speaker: Prof. Eeshan Chaturvedi
Prof. Eeshan Chaturvedi is the founder of EnviPol and the Assistant Dean at Jindal School of Environment and Sustainability. He is a renowned environmental and energy lawyer, having completed his LL.M. in Environmental Law and Policy from Stanford Law School in June 2015. Prof. Chaturvedi has extensive experience in environmental litigation and policy, addressing issues such as groundwater restoration, infrastructure project sustainability, and international environmental incidents like oil spills. His expertise and dedication to environmental law make him a leading voice in the field.

About the Speaker: Mr. Arpit Chaturvedi
Mr. Arpit Chaturvedi is the co-founder and CEO of Global Policy Insights and a lecturer at San Francisco State University, where he teaches comparative perspectives in public service to graduate students. A graduate of the Cornell Institute for Public Affairs with an MPA degree focusing on governance, politics, and policy studies, Mr. Chaturvedi is a distinguished author of "Our Egalitarian Universe" and has numerous publications in prestigious journals on themes such as democracy, governance, systems thinking, game theory, history, and politics.
